Collection help
A personal account is required for creating an image collection.
Selecting images
If you want to select a certain image or images for the collection, tick the checkbox besides the image . Alternatively, the button "Select all images" allows you to select all search results of one page directly.
Now all selected images can be saved to the collection or a new collection can be created.
Creating a new collection
To create a new collection click the button "Store images in ..." and press
the button "New collection".
Now you can give your collection a title including a description and add keywords.
Example
You are attending a class on Renaissance Sculpture in Italy. You have several options to create collections for individual classes:
| Title: | Donatello |
|---|---|
| Description: | Class - Renaissance Sculpture |
| Keywords: | Florence, David, Bronze, 1386-1466 |
| Title: | Michelangelo |
|---|---|
| Description: | Class - Renaissance Sculpture |
| Keywords: | Florence, David, Marble, 1475-1564, St. Peter's Basilica, Pieta. |
In doing so, collections of various artists can be allocated to a particular class and linked by using keywords.
Example: You are using the keyword "David". The search results show the collections of Donatello and Michelangelo.
Saving images
After selecting images by ticking the checkbox and pressing the button "Store images in", select
the image collection you wish to use in the drop down menu.
The images are copied automatically to the selected collection.
Please note that selecting images is only possible for the actual screen. Save the selected images first before switching to another screen.

Forks of shared collections will be marked private initially and added to your list of collections. Access rights are not inherited from the parent collection.
Working with public collections
Under "Public" you can see a list of all publicly accessible collections. There are both "publicly readable" and "publicly writable" ones.
Publicly readable collections may be viewed, forked and downloaded by any user. Only the owner or collaborators may edit the collection. If you would like to work on such a collection you can fork it or contact the collection's owner to add you as a collaborator.
